Perc Trax

Firmly occupying the darker, guttural chasms of experimental electronic music, Perc Trax launched in 2004 as a vehicle for Perc’s vacuous experimentations and has since evolved into a cornerstone for those with an interest in razor-edged, industrial and textural sound design. Under Perc’s forensic levels of curation the label has cultivated a core roster of artists, producers, composers and sound design specialists including Ansome, Scalameriya, Ghost In The Machine, Somniac One, Clouds and of course Perc himself; with heavyweights such as Ancient Methods, Richard H. Kirk, Dax J, Wallis, Tommy Four Seven, Peder Mannerfelt & Sissel Wincent and Chris Carter in close support. The label has won Resident Advisor’s coveted label of the month title and has been the subject of an editorial feature in the Guardian newspaper in June of 2012, a rarity for a label with such an uncompromising and cinematic sound. The label’s releases are respected for both their experimental edge and their unapologetic dynamic nature, leading to Perc Trax showcases regularly being promoted around the world from Asia to the Americas. Moving forward into the 2020's Perc Tax continues to provide a prolific output of high profile releases and immersive events around the globe and celebrates it's one hundredth vinyl release in 2024.
